Organizing for the Spirit: From Clutter to Clarity
Our focus will be “spring cleaning” to get our houses in order, from the inside out – spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically – to create a life and home that is a clear reflection of who we are and what matters most to us. We will learn scriptural principles and practical tools for making the details of our daily lives meaningful and manageable – so we can live our lives with purpose and passion, without being overwhelmed and distracted by things that do not truly matter. We will take inventory of our lives, clearly identify what genuinely matters to us, then use that clarity about our values and priorities as a compass to clean house (internally and externally), and (re-)organize our time, our activities, and the physical environments that we live and work in – simplifying our lives and creating a healthy balance and between our inner passions and priorities and the external lives that we live.
Begins: Saturday, the 4th of May.
Time: 3-5 p.m.
Duration: 5 Weeks (Ends on Saturday, the 1st of June)
Facilitator: Maggie Schaaf
Content will be pulled primarily from the books “Organizing for the Spirit” by Sunny Schlenger, “From Clutter to Clarity” by Nancy Twigg, and other books on self-care, time management, and organization. Participants will be provided with handouts with relevant scriptures, quotes, and other helpful tools and online resources.
