July 16, 2020 - 6:00 pm

Join us as we review and discuss Austin Channing Brown’s book I’m Still Here: Black Dignity In A World Made For Whiteness. This class will be addressing the national conversation around racism in America through safe and guided discussion.

From a leading voice on racial justice, Austin gives us an eye-opening account of growing up Black, Christian and female that exposes how white America’s love affair with “diversity” so often falls short of it’s ideals.

This course is for anyone ready to learn from, listen to and empathize with those who have had different life experiences than their own.

Note: This class will adhere to the CDC social distancing guidelines and require participants to wear a mask during class. At HOH, the safety of our community, facilitators and employees is a top priority. We are continually monitoring the situation and will make adjustments as needed.
