House of Hope is a non-profit, faith-based program for women founded in 2001 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
At House of Hope, it is our goal to encourage, empower, and equip women to live well.
We. . .
Encourage women to apply God’s Word and experience His power
Empower women to overcome lies and know God’s truth
Equip women to serve the community and live life abundantly
To pursue this goal, there are four components which structure our work at House of Hope.
CLASSES: Integral to our mission, we offer a variety of weekly classes, taught by volunteers. Our students range in age, experience, and background, but have been united by a sincere desire to learn, grow, and heal from the past. We both invite and encourage you to take a look at our classes by clicking on the CLASSES link and email us at stephanie@houseofhopecr.org with any questions you may have.
HOUSING: In addition to classes, we are able to offer housing to up to six women at one time. Criteria and cost for housing can be found on the HOUSING link.
SEMINARS: In addition to weekly classes at the House of Hope, we also offer independent, one-time seminars, conferences, and retreats. Whether hosted at the House of Hope, a hotel or local church, these events are great ways for women’s ministry groups to offer Biblical teaching and godly fellowship, especially in partnership with groups from other churches.
MENTORING: House of Hope offers its students the opportunity to connect weekly with a volunteer mentor for Biblical encouragement, instruction, and prayer. This is not professional counseling, but the opportunity for women to enrich and reinforce their growth at House of Hope as they are held accountable and enjoy the benefits of a listening ear. We also have a Therapy Intern available for Marriage and Family Counseling sessions on a by-appointment basis. More information can be found under the COUNSELING link.
Thank you for visiting our website. We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
